About the Founder
Jose Luis Perez-Griffo, AIA, a.k.a. “Pepe,” is a licensed architect in New York, New Jersey, and Illinois. He also carries Licensed in Spain since 2005.
Pepe has 17 + years’ experience in a wide range of architectural typologies. Since the early years, he has focused his passion and energy on all design aspects of the profession, from initial planning to its final execution.
Shortly after he earned his architectural degree and Licensed in the Polytechnic University of Madrid, Spain, he moved to Chicago to expand his professional experience and form a better understanding of the US's design and construction industry. After two years of learning about the industry's similarities and discrepancies between the US and Europe, Pepe was fortunate to experience American Education.
In May 2008, he graduated with the best portfolio of the M.S.Advanced Architecture Design program at the Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation ( GSAPP ) at Columbia University in the city of New York. Since then, he has worked and lead design teams in several award-winning architectural firms such as STL Architects, OWP&P (Currently CANON DESIGN), NBBJ, and Mathew Baird Architects.
In this new and exciting chapter of his career, Pepe is highly motivated to create a design culture that promotes a friendly and collaborative environment between design and building professionals to face better the most demanding and meaningful projects of their clients and their communities.
